With a focus on the auxiliary components to consider when identifying potential sites for EV chargers. Presenters for this Zoom webinar include: Shawn Grant with PacifiCorp & David Eckels with EVIA.

Presentors:

Shawn Grant (PacifiCorp)

  • Shawn Grant has been employed with PacifiCorp since 2006 and has worked in various roles within the energy industry for over 25 years.  He currently is the Customer Innovations Manager for Rocky Mountain Power.  Shawn oversees and has responsibility for behavior-based energy efficiency, electric vehicles, agricultural load management, residential load management and battery demand response within Rocky Mountain Power. 

David Eckels (EVIA)

  • David Eckels is a founding partner of Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Advisors LLC, a consulting practice focused on planning and deploying electric vehicle charging projects. EVIA has served clients including charging networks, utilities, real estate managers, city, county, and state governments. Prior to founding EVIA, David joined NRG EVgo to launch the first public fast charge network in Utah, then managed business development and construction across the western U.S., including metro and corridor programs in partnership with Nissan and BMW in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and California. He has led the deployment of thousands of DC fast and Level II chargers coast-to-coast, and contributed to the development of the two largest public fast charger networks in North America. David earned a B.A. from Dartmouth College, and prior to EVs, worked in renewable energy and efficiency. He lives in Salt Lake City and loves exploring the West’s wild places.
